I signed up for it. Here's the deal. 1. In order to be able to use masked credit cards, you need to sign up with their "premium" service that's $39.95 per year. 2. In order to create a masked credit card, you need to verify your underlying primary credit card. 3. In order to verify your credit card, you need to have online banking set up with the card. 4. For the verification process, they make a phony charge against the primary credit card. You then need to look on your online banking for the transaction amount. The amount is the "key" for the verification. 5. Once verified, they charge 2.5% per masked card. 6. The cards are not "recurring" charges, but I assume that they can behave that way with a single vendor. (I haven't tried this yet.) 7. At first, you are limited to card values of up to $50. Over time, on a weekly basis, this limit increases to a maximum of $500. So, as it stands, I cannot use this service for the purpose I was hoping, namely, renewing my external plumbing coverage insurance since it's over $50. I guess I'd only recommend the premium service if you were to also use the temporary phone numbers, temporary email addresses, the password manager, and/or their back-up service. > From: ", Flora" <http://www.vermont.gov/~Flora.> > Date: Tue, 26 Jun 2018 16:30:58 +0000 > > Okay.
