Subject: TIME OFF FOR COVID-19 VACCINATION

At noSticwall, the health, safety and well-being of our employees is important. In order to encourage employees to take care of themselves and their families as well as ensure a safe work environment for all, noSticwall employees will be eligible to take up to 4 hours off from work, as paid time, for receiving the COVID-19 vaccination shot. This time will not be deducted from your PTO balance. Please work with your manager to coordinate the time needed for your vaccination.

Vaccines (shots) are one of the tools we have to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.

To stop this pandemic, we need to use all of our prevention tools.

  • Vaccines are one of the most effective tools to protect your health and prevent disease. Vaccines work with your body’s natural defenses so your body will be ready to fight the virus, if you are exposed (also called immunity).
  • Wearing a mask that covers your nose and mouth is another effective tool
  • Staying at least 6 feet away from other people you don’t live with, also help stop the spread of COVID-19.

Studies show that COVID-19 vaccines are very effective at keeping you from getting COVID-19. Experts also think that getting a COVID-19 vaccine may help keep you from getting seriously ill even if you do get COVID-19. These vaccines have been clinically evaluated and tested and cannot give you the disease itself.

COVID-19 can have serious and life-threatening complications, which is why it’s important for everyone who’s eligible to get vaccinated. Getting vaccinated outweighs the alternative of becoming ill and succumbing to the COVID-19 disease. If you’re not sure, ask your doctor if you should be immunized against COVID-19.

If you require assistance in finding resources in your area for receiving the COVID-19 vaccination or have questions regarding the time off, please enter an HR ticket at helpdesk.nosticwall.com. We will assist you in finding the necessary resources.

Kind regards,

noSticwall HR
