I like how there was unanimity about the veracity of these two statements: Traditional parties and politicians don't care about people like me The American economy is rigged to advantage the rich and powerful I was trying to understand what "America is in crisis and at risk of failing". By the fact that a whopping 17% answered "I don't know" makes me think many others were also confused. How did this poll manage to find 33% of Americans who did not vote at all in the last presidential election? Also, how did they find 14% of people who do not use any sources of media for their news?? Do these people just never watch the news? (Maybe I should strive to be more like them?) And 20% of them never or almost never watch political news? BTW, breaking results down by party is pretty stupid because there are twice as many democrats than republicans in this country. So, you'd have to multiply any democratic result by 50% and reduce any republican results by 33%. I only looked at the combined results since those should be the most accurate. This poll was entirely conducted online. That means that it would be very unlikely that people like me would have ever ended up in this poll. At least they made the effort to normalize the data based on the U.S. census.
