Additionally, I also noticed that you've contracted for a battery backup system. Have you considered which circuits you would like the battery to back up? As you may know, the battery is for emergency backup – it's not a whole-house solution. You will choose up to eight 20A breakers to back up. Homeowners often select the kitchen/refrigerator and some outlets for lights. The eight breakers you choose will be placed in a dedicated loads panel to be backed up by the battery. To help with your selections, attached is a document to help you understand your battery better. When you make your decisions, feel free to either email them or provide them to our team member on the day of your inspection.
