I don't think unplugging laptops does very much. Our biggest electricity consumers are definitely the big appliances and space heaters. Getting a new fridge definitely improved our electricity usage profile over the last year.

      BTW, it's possible that Marnie was right: I was reading that thyroid issues can both increase LDL levels and increase blood pressure. Something to think about.
