This article mentions 2.7 degrees.  From everything I've heard, we are on
track for 3.5 C.  Which also will be pretty dire.

I agree: the problem is who is "our children".  There is going to be a
massive global migration from the equator to the north (mostly) due to
climate effects.  It is prudent for rich northerns not to have children in
order for us to accomodate this wave that need to live here until things
become even unlivable in the north (and south).

Advocating a pro-natality in these times is at best irresponible.  I hope
the Overpopulation Podcast ( https://www.populationbalance.org/podcasts )
addresses this ridiculous article.
