I don't know if I'd consider it a drawback.  Your old Prius uses a Ni-Cad,
and Li-Ion gives better distance.  I wouldn't want a BMW since repairs
will be even more expensive.

I could definitely see a comparison with Chevy Volt, but we should have a
slightly better storage capacity in this car.
