I see that, in every case, some form of ranked-choice voting is always
better than any form of plurality voting, including run-offs, "approval"
(voting for multiple candidates without ranking), and "highest median"
(using distribution statistics for ranking candidates).  So, despite the
complication you experienced with KPFA elections, it's still going to be
much better than any other alternative.
