 . - OPTIONAL WORK
Scope of Work

Total

Foundation Issues Observed

$900.00

For existing vertical perimeter wall foundation cracks that are 1/8" or wider
we suggest filling the crack with an
acrylic latex sealant and then installing a 6" (ht) X 30" (wd) X 1/4" (thick)
steel plate with two 5"x1/2" Titen HD
retrofit bolts on each side of the crack to prevent the further displacement of
the foundation at that point.
There are (6) cracks found for which we strongly recommend the above treatment.
The above price includes
repairing all found.

Interior Post to Floor Beam Anchoring

$880.00

The interior (not around the perimeter foundation walls) post-to-beam
connections are not mechanically
reinforced. The only fastening that exists is the original "toe nailing".
Though this factor is not as critical in regards to seismic strengthening as
the continuous load path created by the
perimeter concrete wall to wood floor framing connections as defined by "Plan
Set A", it is something that can be
done that will increase the overall strength of the structure.
We add two Simpson Strong-Tie "AC6" Post Caps at each post top to supported
floor beam connection.
Approximately (22) posts for anchoring are included in price above.
No Deposit Required - Final Invoice is to be paid in full within 30 days
after completion of the project. If you require additional payment
options because of budgetary concerns, please contact your Bolt
Down Project Manager.
