I agree with most of this, of course, except the theory that falling
fertility rates can be reversed.  There is nothing known, short of a
Romanian fascist Gilead-like state, that can reverse falling fertility
rates.  Even authoritarian states like North Korea are struggling.

Immigration is the only answer, and countries in Africa make the most
sense since they have the highest fertility rates, and establishing good
relationships now with those countries will pay generous dividends in the
future.
