Re: Favor--signing on to close fossil fuel plants in Ca?

Hello, Finally got around to reading it. Makes a lot of great points, but misses one: those plants receive MILLIONS of dollars (tax subsidies, operating expenses shouldered by taxpayers, etc.). Scattergood is getting an INITIAL $800M. Why aren't the utilities using that money for solar, or wind, or battery storage? My feeling is that this is the fossil fuel industry, using spurious arguments, and fear, to keep making profits. Sick. I'll mail you the cards on Monday. Thanks for your help!
