The third-party wouldn't know what the passkey owner is up to after
initial authentication, and the service provider wouldn't deal with, much
less retain, the official document part of authentication
The entity wouldn't need to retain the original document. Retaining just
some unique ID which represents the same is enough to be able to track
you, just as Google and other companies don't really care who you are, but
your phone number is used to track you nevertheless. The breadcrumbs (the
very thing that Palantir thrives on) is all you need. The point is that
these data are retained and not discarded.
