My struggle with getting Claude to help me optimize my code continues.  At
this point, it's still slower than when I started this whole process.
About 3 days ago, I realized that it dropped some important logic which
prevented some features getting into the database, which might have
introduced problems.  Yesterday, it suggested another optimization, but
then I realized that it would barely help and I suggested another
optimization and it implemented it.  Like I said before, it's like dealing
with an unruly, arrogant junior programmer and I constantly have to keep
tabs on what it's doing.  I'm still on the fence whether it's worth all
the trouble, especially since I have yet to see positive results.
