Well, I guess the voter has to review (audit) the printout to make sure it
corresponds to their selections. But, I think that's a problem even if
the voter were to vote at a polling place.
I suppose the county could manipulate the vote when it is received. But,
then, that's a problem with every election regardless of the means of
voting.
Results can be independently verified by examining the printed ballot.
I'm not sure what happens with the signed envelope, but I would expect
that, after initial verification, it is discarded to maintain anonymity.
