(I think I mentioned this before, but...)  My father was a ham.  When we
lived in , he hoisted a 30' antenna in our backyard -- a
little bigger than the one seen in Miami in the video.  He had someone
install it, digging a big hole, and filling it with concrete.  Perhaps
this was his dream; I never discussed the particulars with him.  Oh, and
his rig was in my sister's bedroom on the second floor.  (That's also
where the first computer I ever used and the one I programmed was.)
