I looked at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0DJ1j8CFprA and it seems to
indicate that you use the password that was entered during installation.

Try the instructions on
 https://github.com/subgraph/subgraph-os-issues/issues/146 :

 * hit ctrl-alt-f2
 * I suspect that your username is just "user" and you should be able to
   enter your password
 * run "apt-get update" and "apt-get dist-upgrade"

Sorry.  A bit complicated.
