yeah my friend Erika's relatives in North Dakota got COVID during
outbreak there and they live in a farming area and didn't want to
give up in person events. Maybe living in rural areas people are
more old fashioned and so more fatalistic less scientific coupled
with the rugged individualism. During past plagues people didn't
know about science yet so that's where the fatalism started.
