I see from this posting:

that you cannot use your phone number when you unlock your phone.  You'll
need to use the IMEI, which is available via the Settings on Android.

If you want, you could send the phone to my sister and she could unlock
it.  I think she would need the PIN you selected when you set up the phone
initially, 'tho.
