Here's the updated list.

 1. We call off the trip.
 2. You go to Sonoma alone.
 3. We find a pet-friendly hotel.
 4. Put Gary up in a kitty hotel.
 5. Lock Gary and his food outside.
 6. Lock Gary inside and other cats outside.

For #6, you'd need to set up and maintain the kitty litter box.
